KFRC

The Western Electric 5KW AM transmitter at KFRC, San Francisco in 1938. This was the first installation of this new transmitter on the Pacific Coast. At the time, the station was owned by the Don Lee Broadcasting System. A sister transmitter was installed at KHJ, Los Angles, also of the Don Lee System.
